John Pocknell is a product manager at Quest Software based out of the European HQ in Maidenhead UK. He has been with Quest since 2000, working in the database design, development and testing product areas. John also spends significant time with customers at Toad User Groups and Oracle User Groups throughout Europe and the Asia/Pacific region, evangelizing Toad and holding Toad training courses.

John has worked in I.T. for more than 20 years, primarily in Oracle-based application design and development. He is a qualified aeronautical engineer, with over 10 years as a Business Development manager provisioning I.T. consultancy services and implementation of Quality Assurance systems to ISO 9001.

Toad® Expert and Oracle ACE
Bert Scalzo is a product architect for Quest Software and a member of the Toad team. He has worked with Oracle databases for well over two decades; his key areas of interest are data modeling, database benchmarking, database tuning and optimization, "Star Schema" data warehouses and Linux. Bert is the author of several books, including Oracle DBA Guide to Data Warehousing and Star Schema and TOAD Pocket Reference (2nd Edition), and he recently co-authored Database Benchmarking for Oracle and SQL Server (to be released in spring 2007). He has written articles for many online outlets and publications, including Oracle's Technology Network (OTN), Oracle Magazine and PC Week (eWeek), and has presented at numerous Oracle conferences and user groups.

Bert was recently added to the elite list of Oracle ACEs. Oracle ACEs are known for their strong credentials as Oracle community enthusiasts and advocates, with candidates nominated by anyone in the Oracle Technology and Applications communities.

Toad® for Data Analysts Expert
Daniel Norwood is a Product Manager for Quest Software. Daniel brings more than eight years of experience in the software industry specializing in RDBMS and related technologies. In addition to product management, Daniel has worked in support, testing and project management. He spends much of his time interacting with customers around the globe, ensuring Quest's tools exceed their expectations.
