Speakers Doug GarnChief Executive Officer and President, Quest Software Doug Garn is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Quest Software. Garn was recently appointed to the position of CEO after serving as the company's president since 2005. As president, he was responsible for driving the day-to-day product and sales operational areas, including directing the operations and strategies of the worldwide sales, marketing and product teams. Previous to that, Garn served as vice president of worldwide sales, responsible for driving the company's worldwide sales operations and strategies. He has been a primary contributor to the company's double-digit growth. Garn joined Quest in 1998 from Peregrine Systems, Inc. where he was vice president of North American Sales.
| Carol FawcettVice President, Global Information Services Carol Fawcett serves as Quest Software's vice president of Global Information Services, responsible for aligning the company's global business needs and strategy with appropriate technology and process plans. Fawcett organizes and directs the Quest's worldwide IS activities and provides critical feedback to the business, as well as to Sales, external customers and prospects on the company's experiences using Quest products. Fawcett joined Quest in 2000 as the director of IS, responsible for the company's implementation efforts around Oracle and all other enterprise applications, such as Siebel and Clarify. Prior to joining Quest, she served as director of IS at Western Digital. Fawcett has 25 years of experience with financial, manufacturing, CRM, HR/Payroll, marketing and sales force automation applications. She has also directed efforts reaching successful companywide certifications with both ISO900x and Sarbanes-Oxley programs. Fawcett holds a bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from National University in San Diego, California
| Kim KinnisonVice President of Worldwide Support, Quest Software Kim is responsible for all aspects of support worldwide. Prior to assuming this role in 1999, Kinnison was the director and manager of technical support. From 2001 to 2004, she took on the additional role of vice president of human resources with responsibility for the company's personnel and staffing infrastructures, and also served as vice president of Information Services from 1999 to 2001. Kinnison joined Quest in 1991 as a technical support engineer and prior to Quest held positions as a systems programmer at Hughes Aircraft and instructor/consultant at Hewlett Packard. She has a bachelor's degree in computer information systems from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
| Jackson ShawSenior Director, Product Management, Quest Software Jackson Shaw has been involved with directory, meta-directory and security initiatives for almost twenty years. He has spoken at various industry events and writes a popular identity management blog. Jackson oversees product direction, strategy and go-to-market activities for Quest’s suite of Active Directory management products. Jackson joined Quest Software with its acquisition of Vintela. Prior to Quest, he worked for Microsoft Corp, where he was responsible for product planning and marketing for Microsoft's identity and access management products, including Active Directory and Microsoft Identity Integration Server (MIIS) 2003. Before joining Microsoft in 1999, Jackson served as vice president of sales for Toronto-based ZOOMIT, and held IT held IT management roles at the International Development Research Centre. Jackson has been involved in directory, meta-directory, and security initiatives since 1988. He studied computer science and management information systems at the University of Ottawa. He is a member of the Association for Computing Machinery.

| Joel OlesonSenior Product Manager and Evangelist, Quest Software At Quest, Joel is responsible for product direction and strategy. He is well known in the SharePoint community as an enthusiastic trainer, evangelist and architect and he maintains a popular blog. Joel is a frequent speaker at popular technical conferences, such as Microsoft TechEd, and often presents to local SharePoint user groups. Prior to Quest, Joel worked at Microsoft and was a part of the first Microsoft global deployment of SharePoint. During his Microsoft tenure Joel helped various customers achieve the critical governance they needed to upgrade and achieve scale with SharePoint 2007. | Phil SimpsonSenior Business Development Manager, Microsoft Phil is a global Business Development Manager for Microsoft’s Global ISV team based in Redmond. His team within the Server and Tools division of Microsoft is responsible for working with the most strategic ISV partners for Microsoft globally. Phil has been managing the corporate relationship with Quest Software for almost 5 years now and works closely with Quest development and sales teams to ensure strategic alignment between the two companies and to help provide a valuable unified solution for our joint customers. Prior to joining Microsoft in 2004, Phil held business development and sales positions at Adobe Systems where he worked for 6 years previously.
| Dmitry SotnikovPowerShell MVP, New Project Research Manager, Quest Software Dmitry Sotnikov has over eight years of experience working in the Windows management area, and is the author or multiple whitepapers, a regular blogger and a presenter at numerous trade shows, including: Microsoft Management Summit, WinHEC, Longhorn RDP Airlift and TechEd. The TechEd session which Dmitry co-presented became the 3rd most highly rated within the Windows Server Infrastructure track. He is currently leading the new product research and development team for Quest’s Windows Management business unit. Dmitry and his team are actively working with partners and customers to identify the new market opportunities that the company can use to expand its business. It is out of this team that most of Quest's new products and initiatives such as the new SharePoint line of business or the recent PowerShell initiatives emerge. Dmitry is also overseeing the Windows Management strategic roadmap and inter-product integration. He is Quest's main technical contact for Microsoft working on the day to day and strategic aspect of Quest's collaboration with this key partner. Dmitry joined Quest as part of the Aelita Software acquisition and has held various managerial positions in technical communications, customer support, and product management.

| Kirk MunroPowerShell MVP, Product Architect, Quest Software Kirk Munro is a Microsoft MVP and PowerShell Solutions Architect who has worked in the IT industry for over 12 years. He has spent the majority of that time creating and developing software solutions in the Windows Management space. At Quest Kirk spends his time working on PowerShell solutions, most notably PowerGUI, where he is responsible for the architecture, design and development of the PowerPacks that are used to extend the PowerGUI administrative console. When he's not working on PowerGUI, Kirk spends his time working with PowerShell in the community, presenting at conferences, launch events and user group events whenever he gets the opportunity. He also helps users learn PowerShell through his blog, as well as through PowerGUI forums and the Windows PowerShell newsgroup. | Hugh McEvoyManager, Product Management, Quest Software Hugh McEvoy manages product management for Foglight’s applications offerings, which include Java, .NET, ERP and CRM performance management solutions. His role includes market strategy, technical strategy, and setting development priorities. Hugh joined Quest Software in 1999. Prior to joining Quest, Hugh was a technical consultant for ParcPlace-Digitalk, one of the pioneers of object-orientated (OO) software technology, Smalltalk and Java. There, he managed a number of large-scale OO development projects. Hugh has a Ph.D. in Computer Science, awarded by the University of Amsterdam in 1997, and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Imperial College, London, awarded in 1993.

| Tim FordSenior DBA, Spectrum Health Hospital System Tim Ford is a Senior Database Administrator for Spectrum Health Hospital System. He has been working with Microsoft SQL Server in the capacity of either a Developer/Analyst or Database Administrator since 1999. Tim also has experience as an Oracle DBA, Microsoft Office developer, Systems Engineer, and Web Developer.
